Day 24 of the Instagram Challenge
I don't actually live in a neighborhood anymore. I live in a rural, farmland filled area now, surrounded by hayfields, where the nearest neighbors are roughly half a mile away. A lot of the land around here is owned by several generations of family- and all of the 'neighbors' we've met have been so very welcoming.
We are the 4th owners of our house. Records say it was built in 1940, but some parts are most definitely older, likely early 1900s. Some of the neighbors here, actually knew all of the previous owners and the history of the area. That makes it special to us.
What does this photo have to do with all that? Well, to get to our area, you have to go under/through this gorgeous train tunnel that was built in 1906- probably around the time #fiveoaks started to become what it is today.
