My mom called.

Cookie, their dog, was diagnosed with Leptospirosis today. She was sick enough that if they'd waited one more day to take her to the vet, she'd have died.

Her vet, upon hearing that we'd be bringing Caena up, recommended that we get her vaccinated for the Leptospirosis BEFORE we come, to be safe. Seems Cookie got it from the yard.


So now, I need to call my vet tomorrow, explain what's going on and try to get Caena a vet appointment before next Friday. And hope it's not super expensive.

As well as hope that Dr Eick says not to take her to Michigan. Otherwise, we won't be going home on vacation.}:/

I swear, I just cannot win lately.
