Yes, that's ARIES in CAENA'S KENNEL.




He'd walked by it earlier while she was outside, peered in and I thought for certain he'd go in then. But no, I was making food, so that was more interesting. Mark called me downstairs a few hours later, Caena was sleeping, and told me to bring the camera.

The really funny part? HE WOULDN'T LEAVE THE KENNEL. Even when Caena came into the kitchen to go outside! He was claiming it as his. I had to coax him out. Guess it was just so warm and comfy, that he preferred it over the bed or his box. *sigh*


Meanwhile, Caena is laying on the floor beside me, licking the wooden design table leg.


Yes, I have silly pets.

My diva kitty will do this all the time. Georgie will go in and sit next to her, nudge her then make these "Moooom, make her move" noises when the cat refuses to leave the crate.

Poor Caena's not feeling good tonight (I think she's feeling a bit under the weather, as she ACTS fine, just is a bit warmer than normal) and Aries keeps antagonizing her.

Poor baby. Cat's can be evil like that. Our younger cat will terrorize the other pets if they are not feeling well. He's such a jerk.

I need to take and post dog/snow pics. We got a foot of snow last night and Missy is confused by it.

Lucky you! All we got was rain and a bit of ice during the night, then rain and a bit of wind today.

Fortunately, we were in the middle to northern part of that weather system so there was no ice, just snow for us. Tonight it's going to drop to dangerously cold because we have no cloud cover.
I tossed polar fleece blankets into the dogs' crates today so they have something to help them keep warm. They both prefer to sleep in their houses to sleeping in my drafty bedroom. I don't blame them.

I don't blame them either.
We put Caena's kennel up on a afghan, so it's not on the floor directly. She also has a thick bed in it, so that helps too.}:)

That is so cute!

Aries has done the typical cat, "Mine!"

Do Aries and Caena ever snuggle together, or is it strictly just one or the other someplace?

Nope, never together. Aries lets her chase him, but if she gets TOO close, he hisses at her. LOL
