Awesomeness... @ 09:00 pm
Once upon a time, I used to make hard carved wooden Runes. I made hand carved stone ones too.
but my steady supply point for stones dried up and I stopped. I haven't made any wood ones for quite awhile now either.
That's not to say I ran out of wood supply sources, because I have three plastic totes full of the stuff that's the perfect size, just needs cut, sanded and carved. I just ran out of spare time and I had no really good place to actually sell them for what *I* felt they were worth.
Well, I have a place to sell them.Several, actaully. And I received some VERY nice specimens of exotic woods recently...

From the top-
Back- Mulberry
Left to right- Hickory, African Black Walnut, Purple Heart, Yellow Wood
Front, left to right- Anegre(also known as Madagascar Rosewood), Teak and Cedar.
I have in my stash, White Oak, Maple, Tulip Wood, Sycamore, Cherry, possibly some Pine and Applewood.
So yeah. All except the Purple Heart will get a hand rubbed beeswax finish. The Purple Heart will get at least 3 coats of clear poly to seal it.
I'll definately be busy for awhile}:)
