My hair is now purple. Well, some of it anyway. Ultra Violet and Deadly Nightshade, to be precise.

Had one person who works at the pet/gift store I buy my Solid Gold dog food at, ask why my hair was purple. She was surprised to learn I no longer work at the store. Heh.

Speaking of store, was in there getting money orders to pay bills, and a regular asked if I wasn't on the wrong side of the counter. Donna told him, no, didn't you see her hair, she don't work here any more. She can't work here with her hair like that. He asked if I quit simply because I wanted to dye my hair, when I said of course not, he said, good I didn't think you were that dense.}:P

Was at Ukrop's, picking up some Matcha, and the cashier, older black lady, maybe early 40's, asked if the picture of the man on my shirt was my boyfriend. I glanced down, and said, 'No, that's Rob Zombie'. She said, 'who's he, a rock star? '. I said 'yes, as a matter of fact he is. '

Was at Krogar getting the rest of the groceries and one of the butchers walks by, says, Rob Zombie, eh? So then we proceeded to have a 10 minute conversation about Rob Zombie and his new movie Halloween, that we are going to go see on Sat.

I find this amusing because Mark and I have been discussing going to Jersey to catch one of Rob Zombie's concerts in New York City , Dec 22nd. (I had thought there was one in Philly, but I guess not. Wierd, could have sworn it said Philly, not Pittsburgh). He'll be there with Ozzy. We're planning to stay with his parents and drive *gulp* into New York City, as it's 2 hours away. So we'll see.


My Steinwood family of Sims continue to amuse me.


The family that blows bubbles together... ?

Morgana and Skylar's daughter, Morwenna, has grown to a child. They have a son, Shane, who's a toddler. And twin alien babies, a boy named Sirius and a girl named Meissa(both star names). Fixed the family ties so they are considered Morgana and Skylar's children, not Skylar and the aliens.

Morwenna is turning out gorgeous like her mom, but with her dad's skintone. Shane... umm.. not so much. mom's skintone, dad's eyes and possibly hair. But he's an ugly toddler. Well, ugly compared to how his sister looked. He has no upper lip and huge chipmunk cheeks. The twins, it's too early to tell, but they have normal faces, green skin and the black alien eyes. Photos of them after I get better ones.

Now, Skylar had woken Morgana up, and handed her Sirius, when she was standing behind were he is now. Then he had Meissa. Well, Morgana put Sirius on the floor and started making the bed. The game automatically moved Sirius to where you see him. The look on her face is priceless. It's all, 'I don't see that green baby on the floor, nor do I see my husband holding another green baby. Nope, sure don't.'

I died laughing.

I also got them two puppies- Isis, the white one and Osiris, the black/brown one. Male and Female. Yes, I'm going to try my hand at backyard breeding in my Sims2 game. Hel, that's as close as I'll ever get after all.

Morwenna was snuggling Isis. Poor pup looks like she'd rather be anywhere but where she is.


Some days, I should not be allowed in the kitchen. After making chocolate chocolate chip muffins for Mark for breakfast- damned things refused to come out of the muffin pan, and I know damned well I buttered and floured liberally, I decided to make baked potatoe and bacon chowder.

Behold... Asiago Cheese and Herb Infused Baked Potatoe, Onion and Bacon Chowder...



Homemade cream sauce with herbs and Asiago Cheese, red skinned baked potatoes, red onion and applewood smoked bacon, topped with fresh grated Asiago Cheese, paired with Ciabatta bread.
