Tulip Grove Estate Orphanage considered Success
Experimental Orphanage nears 20th anniversary
The Mayor of Pleasantview praised Magdalena Steinwood's efforts in promoting a stable, homelike
environment for the city's young orphaned children.

"Her success in raising 5 of our 9 orphans in this program to young adulthood, and subsequently
sending them to collage, demonstrates how well a loving home environment works for them. All of
the orphans in her care are straight A students at the local Private Acadamy. This is unprecedented. in
our fair City."

Ms. Steinwood, aged 39, raised not only 9 of the City's orphans, but her own daughter, Morgana,
aged 19, after a disastrous relationship with Don Lothario, the city's resident gigalo. She credits a
warm, welcoming home environment with her success.

"Without the inheritance and this wonderful large home left to me by my parents, I would not have been
as successful as I have been. " she said.

She also thanked Mr Lothario for the 'experience' he gave her in life and relationships, as well as the daughter
he left her. "Morgana, as she's gotten older, has been a big help with the younger children, and says she
would like to take over the running of this facility when I finally decide to retire." Ms. Steinwood
said, laughing, "Not that that's likely in the near future."

Mr Lothario could not be reached for comment.

Thanks to grants, scholarships and Magdalena Steinwood's own money, so far, 5 of the orphans, as well as
her own daughter, are currently attending Sim State University, and are in the first semester of their Freshman
year. The 6 young adults are sharing a modest home on the campus and there is room for their 4 siblings still
at home, 2 of which will be attending next year, the other 2 in the years to come.

SteinWood House, at Sim State University, was Ms. Steinwood's gift to her present, and any future, charges.
It features 3 roomy bedrooms, 2 with bunkbeds, and 1 with double beds, a study area, a roomy dining
room, state of the art kitchen and a large living room perfect for gatherings. There is also a future garden plot
and 3 fruit trees on the property, as well as exercise equipment and a swimming pool. All of Ms. Steinwood's
charges are tutored in basic gardening from the age of 10 until they head to college. She says this instills a want
for fresh foods and a zest for hard work. Her efforts certainly have paid off.

Tulip Grove Estate Orphange
can easily support 11-12 children at one time, although 10 children at any given time seems to be the norm thus far.
In the near future, the city is considering expanding the bed space for older children and teens, as teens would be
able to help out with the toddlers and babies, of which there is rarely more than 4 at a time. This decision is still on
the city board's table at this time. It would entail adding bunk beds to the teen room.

Steinwood Engagement Announced
Magdalena Steinwood said to be ecstatic

Morgana Steinwood and her fiance, Skylar Steinwood

Ms. Magdalena Steinwood, of the Tulip Grove Estate Orphanage fame, was pleased to announce the
engagement of her daughter, Morgana Steinwood, to Mr Skylar Steinwood, one of her former orphans.

Mr Steinwood, aged 20, no blood relation, took the Steinwood name officially (all of the orphans at the Orphanage are for legal puposes called Steinwood, upon their majority, they can then decide whether to keep it or to chose another, most have opted to keep the name) when he came of majority, is
currently attending Sim State University with plans to become a Scientist in the Medical field. He is
currently on the Dean's list and in his freshman year.

Miss Steinwood, aged 19, is also attending Sim State University, with plans to take over the
running of the Tulip Grove Estate Orphanage after her mother retires. She is taking the Artist study
course, with a secondary in Education. She is also on the Dean's List and in her freshman year.

The wedding, date to be announced, will be held at Tulip Grove Estate Orphanage, and the family
requests that it be a private affair, amongst family and extreme close friends only.

Mr Don Lothario, father of the bride to be, could not be reached for comment.

(SimGoddess Notes- Morgana and Skylar are UNTOUCHED, as far as genetics go. Meaning, other than hair, clothes and makeup, what you see if exactly how they grew up. The first in game born/generated Sims I've had that are , in my opinion, absolutely stuning. They will make beautiful Sim babies together.}:P YES, Don Lothario, a Maxis Sim, IS Morgana's father. He and Magdalena had a one night stand that resulted in her. If Skylar was a real person, and I wasn't married, I'd SOOOO hit that. The others are mildly touched up, mainly their noses and mouths, especially if they were frowning. all except Morgana are Maxis created orphans adopted via the Social Worker/Adoption Agency and subsequently born in game. No clues as to their family genetics, so Sjylar was a pleasant surprise. )
