Gratuitous Ribby Rabby Photos.

This was after I got Rufus, my new foster rabbit, home and got his cage set back up. He has no toys because well, Ben didn't have any, and I took his last 20.00 for bedding, food, a salt ring, and at least one bag of treat sticks for Rufus. He actually stretched out and relaxed last night after about an hour and runing back and forth, watching the Boys, who were mildly curious until they figured out that he's simply a larger version of Puck. Its funny, I've never seen him this relaxed at Ben's.

This was this morning. Ben claimed Rufus didn't like grass. Funny, but he was literally trying to get to the sweetgrass and lemongrass plants in the window next to his cage. And funny how whe I gave him a piece of lemongrass, he chowed down on it. You can see he now has way better food and more bedding. I got him what Puck eats and I think I put alot more bedding in there than Ben ever did, he barely covered the bottom, I put at least 1 1/2 inches in there. He also chowed on the dried apple ring I gave him this morning as well. He has a salt ring on the side of the cage as well as a treat stick hanging from the top to give him stretching exercises. I hate to tell Ben that I think he's happier here than he was there. Ben also claims he's noisy at night. Funny, but I didn't hear a peep out of him. He did fuss at me this morning when I added more bedding, heh.

Puck isn't too sure about the new guy. I was holding him and sat next to Rufus' cage. Puck just sat there staring. He hadn't been around another rabbit in nearly 8 years, so I'm not surprised he was abit taken aback.

He's still my little buddy tho and knows it. He gets spoiled rotten every morning}:P He even got abit of lemon balm today with his leaf lettuce. Where Rufus is now, is where Puck's cage will be moved to, after Rufus goes back to Ben's in a few months. I think he'll be happier there than in the bedroom.}:)

Now I just have to get used to being stared at all the time}:P
