"Twelve miners were trapped more than a mile underground today after an explosion in a coal mine in Upshur County, West Virginia, officials said. Six miners made it out after the blast. There has been no communication with the trapped workers, said Steve Milligan, deputy director of the county's office of emergency management. "There's no indication at this point whether they are alive or not."  "

After the fiasco with my mom's christmas gift, the kids, Colin, Emily and Allison, as well as my parents, are getting fabric art for christmas this year.

Sad part is, aside from stuffing, Allison's and Emily's are almost finished already, well Emily's is anyway, just need to sew the sides together. Allison's needs the border sewn on, then sewn together.. They're getting throw pillows, large squishy ones, approx, 20" to a side, in hand dyed and sunprinted fabrics. Emily's will have a large 'E' quilted to the center.

Colin's was abit more difficult to decide on. So I called my mom. He doesn't have a favorite football team- just whoever is doing the best, last year was the 49ers, this year its the Colts, same with baseball. But he does have a favorite college Football team.

*gags* Its University of Michigan.

Now, if you know me, I'm a Michigan State fan, diehard fan at that.

So while he'll get a pillow in *gag* UofM colors(blue and yellow), I'll be damned if a little MSU colors (green and white)don't sneak in there.}:P

I died laughing.

Just put a jar of concentrated dye in the fridge. Dante is in the kitchen,as its pouring outside, so I didn't want her out in this weather. I pulled out a treat and said in a low, half meaning voice, "Sit".

Now, Dante never justs Sits. She always Dances. She'll assume the pose for a brief second, then she's dancing again, or she's dancing in place.


Dante simply Sat.

Eyebrows hit my hairline, I swear.
