Gave Dante a Rimadyl before we went to the vet's. She knew where we were headed and got all happy about it. I think she just enjoys the attention and the treats more than anything.
Gods, I'll be glad when this is over. After tomorrow, in exactly one month,we go back yet again to start her on the pill form of heartworm preventative. She can't be alone for 24 hours after that, so I'll have to take that day off again. Which was the deal I made with her anyway, that while she was going through this, I'd be with her every step of the way. I think Dr. Eick liked that response.
She's currently stretched out on the floor behind me. The boys are barricaded downstairs, and none too happy about it either. I already had to threaten them with bodily harm if they didn't stop trying to get around the barricade.
We got to the vet's and Dante was all fired up about going inside so I didn't get a chance to walk her and see if she had to pee first. I swear, everytime we go, she either pees or craps on the floor, or, as in the case the past 2 times, both! Its rather embarressing to me, even if Dr. Eick doesn't seem worried about it and says as much. I feel like my dog suddenly forgot all her manners and house training!
After she's completely taken care of, we start in on the boys. Yay, fun.
Gnostic, I'm working on that project I was telling you about. Heh, its slow going as I have to type everything in, as its in pencil and won't scan dark enough to read. Not to mention the pictures, lol. I'll email the first few pages in abit.
