Wolf's Den

hand is still really swollen, but i can move the fingers now. dante is fine, i don't think she likes being coped upin the kennel all day tho, but by law, we have to quarentine her for ten days. which really helps us with keeping her calm and relaxed any way. i'm just glad they didn't make us take her to the shelter for the duration, which, seeings how she's my dog , i don't think they would have. she's got a few scratches on her ears, and lost a good bit of fur, but is otherwise ok.
max kitty was stiff yesterday, has a small gash where the fur was ripped out, and abit of swelling that seems to have gone down alot. he slept with me on the bed nearly all night and is sleeping on mark's chair next to me.
i can't write as i'm a lefty and that's the injured hand, so work this afternoon is going to be interesting. especially in making up a schedule for next week. had june change the bandages for me, it looks just as bad, dried crusty blood. so tomorrow she's going to clean it out for me. mark is going to set up a followup appointment for me, maybe we can get my wrist looked at to see why it hurts so bad. i think wheb dante caught my band that she may have bruised or cracked a bone in there.
woke up at 230am in serious pain, layed there until 330 am when i woke mark up and had him open the bottle of oxycodone for me. an hour later, no pain. good stuff.have a charleyhorse in my thigh from the demerol/pheniden(sp?) shot that makes it hard to walk, but i'm glad it was in the thigh, cause if they put it in the hip, i wouldn't be able to move.
easiest way to explain what happened to people is that my dog and my cat got into a fight and i got in the middle of it. lol, they understand perfectly then!
